Attach the gear to the drive roller, and arrange an interface on the spinning roller, maybe a wood disk. Trace the gear pattern onto the wood disk and cut notches to match the drive gear. Or, buy or find two matching gears. That would allow you to specify the arbor bore to match the rollers. Upvote.
