Stuck on something having to do with Iridium. Hi, I'm attempting to make something in a different modpack (tekkit legends) however the other subs pertaining to tekkit legends seem to be dead. It seems IC2 was changed so that you must find an iridium, then scan it. The ore appears rarely in the nether. The UUMatter crafting feature was removed.
Get on YouTube and check out The MindCrafters, specifically their playthrough of Tekkit Legends, and you'll get a great visual reference for not only the gold pick trick, but also using the macerator trick for bones and blaze rods. Their YT channel hasn't updated in 9 months, but their info and playthroughs are still legit.

There were a few other iterations, such as Tekkit Main (), and Tekkit Legends () which introduced other mods and dimensions, further adding complexity. 'Unique' is a hard question to answer, given that Tekkit is.. well.. Tekkit it can probably be described simply as 'exploring, making factories and building stuff'.
The Grinder is a module added by Engineer's Toolbox that will grind ores and items from an internal inventory and output them to a Machine Output module. This is used in the first step of ore processing in Engineer's Toolbox. The Grinder module uses 10 RF/t and cannot be installed in the same Modular Socket as another machine module.
Go to the launcher, the pack you were having issues on, ModpackOptions>Open. Go into the folder config, and open the file You'll see two lines, one with removeErroringEntities and one with removeErroringTileEntities. At the end, they should both say false. Change false to true, and save.

Engineer's Toolbox is a tech mod by adds Modular Sockets, which allow Modules to be installed in them to perform tasks. There are many things that can be done with Modules, including Redstone logic, Redstone Flux generation and usage, mining, and item and fluid transportation.. As of the version of the mod, Emasher Resource, GasCraft and Defense are packaged with it.

Basic. Download, install and run Minecraft Forge for version, as the relevant files will not be installed unless you do so for the first time. Download the Legends Mod file from MediaFire (be careful as there are dodgy adverts and popups associated with the AdFly) and save the file. Go to file directory %appdata% and open .minecraft file.

The solar panels you're using produce EU (IndustrialCraft Energy Units), but what the Quarry needs is MJ (BuildCraft Minecraft Joule). The Electrical Engine is part of the Forestry mod, which is no longer part of Tekkit for some reason or another. It performed that necessary conversion from EU to MJ. There is another block that does this, though!

Thermal Expansion adds a way to double your ores through pulverizing and smelting. Tekkit also adds Nether Ores. Nether Ores have a ton more stuff inside a single block. Most people don't know but if you pulverize Redstone Nether ore, it gives you 24 Redstone. To me, it's worth to get nether ores. Plus, it adds TONS of stuff that uses Redstone.
